The Administrative Director: A Key Player
As the Administrative Director, you'll be at the heart of Teatro SEA's operations. Your role is to ensure the smooth and efficient management of all administrative, financial, and operational aspects. Working closely with the CEO & Artistic Director and Executive Director, you'll manage and supervise administrative staff, ensuring the organization's mission to serve children and families is upheld.
Key Responsibilities: A Multifaceted Role
- Financial Management: Prepare and monitor budgets, manage payroll, and benefits for staff and artists.
- Office Operations: Oversee office activities, supervise sales and programs teams, and collaborate with the Production Manager for scheduling.
- Human Resources: Maintain personnel records and employee files, ensuring a well-organized HR system.
- Facilities Management: Oversee maintenance of Teatro SEA's spaces, coordinate repairs, and manage liquor licenses and permits.
- Development & Grant Administration: Support grant proposals, collaborate with leadership for donor cultivation, and ensure timely reporting.
- Additional Responsibilities: Provide executive support, prepare reports and presentations, and represent Teatro SEA at community events.
Qualifications: A Perfect Fit
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Arts Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in nonprofit management or arts administration.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Interpersonal: Strong collaboration skills with diverse teams and external partners.
- Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, familiarity with NYC Passport processes, and knowledge of CRM software and city permitting.
Schedule & Work Environment: A Creative Haven
- Full-time: On-site at Teatro SEA's headquarters, with standard office hours and occasional evenings/weekends for performances and events.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
- Benefits: FICA Benefits, 2 weeks paid vacation, partial health insurance after 3 months
