F4, a legendary Taiwanese boy band, debuted in 2001 following their breakout role in the popular Taiwanese drama 'Meteor Garden.' The group originally included Jerry Yan (48), Vic Chou (44), Ken Chu himself (46), and Van Ness Wu (47). They disbanded in 2009 but briefly reunited for a surprise performance at Taiwanese band Mayday’s concert at the Taipei Dome in July. According to Mirror Daily, the reunion was largely driven by Mayday’s lead singer, Ashin, and plans for a new album and tour had already been in motion under Mayday’s record label, B’in Music.

As a result, B’in Music decided to exclude Chu from future activities to ensure the smooth promotion of F4’s reunion.
