Qatar GP 2025: Oscar Piastri's Pole Position and Lando Norris' Title Hopes

He was beaten by his teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, in qualifying for the first time this season, with a time difference of 0.009 seconds. Verstappen's car appeared to be handicapped, with him running off the track at the exit of Turn Four on his first attempt, causing concern for the car's floor integrity. He expressed frustration over the radio, using strong language to describe the car's bouncing and aggressive understeer.
Amidst the title battle, Fernando Alonso's performance stood out. He qualified the Aston Martin in fourth place, an impressive feat for a team ranked eighth in the constructors' championship.
